Angelica

Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American presenter on television, model and actress - is an American comedian. She is regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban has been hailed as being among the most skilled and experienced actresses from the Philippines. During the live shows she sang the song Clarity from Zedd in the Quarterfinals as well as Without You By David Guetta for her Semifinals performance. Angelica was able to advance to the Finals. She sang Symphony which was by Clean Bandit. The singer performed Stronger together with Kelly Clarkson, and Kechi Okwuchi at the end of the competition. The youngest contestant in show history and second in the show's history, she placed 2nd. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. She was just 4 years old at the time. The cause of her disease was a severe strain of the strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale in ECMO Life-Support because she required life-saving medical interventions. Her condition became severe and she had kidney failure and organ failure that didn't recover. Her new norm was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After an eighteen-day stay in the hospital Angelica nearly died but was on the road to recuperation. After a year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the most significant operation she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney. In September 2013, Angelica and her mom went through a successful kidney transplantation surgery at two amazing hospitals located close to one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Health of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of being a star from the beginning.
