Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was formerly an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, which is a think tank for conservatives.
Prior to joining the Department of State, Nauert was an Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. From March 2018 to October of 2018, Nauert served as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy under the Trump administration. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
